I have an AccessPoint (Cisco 1242) that has no Ethernet connection available.
Is it possible to use one 802.11a interface of the neighbor Access Point as bridge so that the Access point without Ethernet connection can get a connection?

Yep, just make the one with the Ethernet connection the root bridge and the one without the non-root bridge. IOS I assume?

Yes I have tried this configuration with success. You can even use a 1242 to work as a "repeater", by using both of his radios to connect to other APs and no ethernet connection at all.
