Can I assign public IP to WLC (Not NAT)

Hi master

I try to assign public ip to wlc ip interface , I can ping that public ip from internet as normally. Butt can't access web gui.

How to troubleshoot it , thanks in advance

run wireshark on laptop when accessing the ip and share output.

make sure port 443 is allowed for that IP, if there is a firewall in between.

try different browsers.

Try are you able to access the GUI from same subnet as Public IP before you try from internet.

Well, If I were configured this WLC I´d certainly put an Access List somewhere. Did you check it? Are you able to SSH to the WLC?

check CPU ACL.
