Cisco 1852 ME - unable to make changes via GUI - getting logged out

I'm trying to provision an 1852i running ME version 8.5.105.0. I went through the installation wizard to setup the management addresses with no issue.

I'm in the CLI via console as well as the CLI via SSH, and can access the GUI, but any attempt at trying to update the software image, view access points, or make any type of change from the GUI I get logged out. An interesting note, that when trying to update the version from the GUI, I'm not seeing the current version, but do see the current version from the CLI.

I haven't tried updating the image from the CLI at this time. Even though this is a very dated version, I have had no issues installing it in the past.

The previous thread regarding this issue went unsolved. The main consensus in that thread was to upgrade the software.  I can upgrade to the suggestion version, but want to know if there is anything else to look at or change prior to doing so.

 - Besides checking logs (through CLI) when you get logged out , or try use other browser there not much other alternatives, upgrading is probably the best approach.
