Hi experts,

I met a problem in my wireless lab.

My virtual WLC is configured with IP address 7.7.14.100, vlan 14, gw 7.7.14.1. From PC, I can ping 7.7.14.x (gw and wlc)at the first time. Then I try to access WLC GUI from PC but failed. The strange thing is, I'm not able to ping WLC anymore. Ping gw is successful.

Since it is a vWLC, you should be able to access the CLI from ESXi and verify that everything is still functioning and configured properly. Can the vWLC ping the gateway and your device ip?

yes, could you tell me come CLI to check? I use exsi terminal to configure vWLC. PC can ping WLC before I try to access it via GUI. Once I enter WLC ip address in browser, it have no response and WLC is no longer pingable. WLC version is 2504 7.2.103

You have a vWLC but you then mention a 2504 running 7.2.103?  A 2504 is an appliance not a vWLC?

So what do you have?

You can try to pause the vwlc and then run it.If it is still like this, you maybe reinstall the vWlc correctly while network is  configured properly.
