i plugged the AP 1142N the light keeps blinking i've wait for a while i have seen the AP registered in the WLC which is usually gets registered by it self. i console to the AP the interface keeps flapping please help

Hi Khalid,
Paste the output of these commands:
sh sysinfo from WLC
sh version from AP
Also paste the complete bootup process from AP console.

which method are you using to discover WLC ?
Your AP and WLC are in diff subnet/vlan ?
Also paste the output of this command:show auth-list

Product Version.................................. 8.0.121.0
There is a very good reason why Cisco no longer allows people to download this specific firmware. I strongly recommend to upgrade the firmware first before doing any troubleshooting.

This version can still be downloaded, 8.0.120.0 has been removed.
