Hi We have Catalyst WLC9800 with ssid1 which is associated with vlan 6, which is associated with internal dhcp pool 10.10.6/0/24. PC can get ip address 10.10.6.11 from the internal dhcp server in the wlc.

Then we created ssid2, vlan8 and dhcp pool 10.10.8.0/24(internal). but the user PC still get ip address 10.10.6.11 via ssid2 from dhcp pool 10.23.6.0/24, not from pool 10.23.8.0/24. After ipconfig /release / renew in the PC, the the PC still get the same ip address. Looks like the second dhcp pool does not work. Do you think why it happen? Thank you

is this only with 1 device, all the devices connecting to this SSID have the same issue?

i would revisit and check the DHCP Settings and VLAN setting associated with SSID here.

Have you added the mapping between the WLAN Profile of SSID2 and the Policy Profile of vlan8 in the Policy Tag?
Can you provide a screenshot of the relevant configuration. Or the output of "show run" in CLI.
Ensure that vlan8 is in the vlan database of WLC.

are vlan6 is wireless management.

Does vlan8 have SVI on WLC, is it configured to use VLAN8 as a source interface.
