I have a weird issue here.
When I tried to use vWLC(running in esxi) to manage my APs(2800 & 1800 series), any devices connected to these APs cannot ping the gateway (actually like 90% icmp packet no reply), these devices will show 'No Internet'. But these devices can ping any other devices in the network whatever connected to these APs, switches or router.
It seems like there was a duplicated gateway IP in the APs or ARP aging to fast.
The aireos version is 8.5.161, DHCP server and management gateway is the same address, all the APs set as flexconnect mode and enable flexconnect local switching, no any other configuration.
The management address is 192.168.1.3/24, no service port configured, virtual gateway used 192.0.2.1
I tried reinstall the vWLC and reset the APs, the issue keeps.
BTW, if these APs use ME, no issue and stable.

It seems work.
Acutally, I checked the Troubleshooting TechNotes, https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/aironet-3800-series-access-points/214491-arp-responses-for-default-gateway-ip-add.html
Disable the flexconnect arp-caching also works.
Thx
