Cant create WLAN Interface

I m using WLAN 4400 with4.1.185.0 code. I tried to create on more interface, it says "cant creat the port".

However, it creates the port but does not take DHCP IP. It is also broadcasting that SSID. Any solution ?

I need some more info.. are we creating the Dynamic interface or something else?? please lemme know what are we trying to do..

Thanks for your reply. dynamic interface so that I can associate WLAN SSID to this new Interface. I wan to broadcast a new ssid for guests. we do have existing SSIDs but they are authenticated using domain account. Now i m trying to create one SSID that can be authenticated by the controller it self

for guests. Please inform me if u need more info.

Hi Muhammad,

I just tried and it on my WLC and its working fine..

Correct me if i am wrong.. i assume that you are configuring like this..

step1 >> Controller >> interfaces >> new >> Fill in the data >> with DHCP address and all those.

Step2 >> Controller >> WLAN >> New >> Map the dynamic interface which you created to this WLAN.

Correct??

yes, exactly. Actually I have done it several times on 5500, but on this 4400, its giving this error. It does create but is not taking DHCP address, after apply when I check , this dhcp field is blank.
