CAP1532 won't join. (Failed to delete database entry)

Hello,

We configured 13x (2700 series) and 2x (1532) APs with the controller IP. We sent them to customer, he installed them and the APs joined the controller, except the 2x 1532 APs.

This is the message I get for both of them: Failed to delete database entry

I can ping both of them but no telnet or ssh.

What I found on the forum is this:

1. try to disable and enable licenses: We have currently more than 400 APs in the controller so I don't want any big changes on that.

2.There is no blocked connection as the other APs did join the wlc.

3. Country code, I think is properly configured but I can't check.

4.I added the MACs to the MAC filtering list.

My question: Any ideas how to fix it remotely? Without doing any big changes to the licenses as I don't want to disrupt all APs.

Additional: If I go on site and connect to the console, will I be able to do anything to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

1. You have configured multiple country code on WLC.

Configured Country............................... Multiple Countries:BE,CN,DE,ES,FR,GB,IE,IT,NL,RO,SE,TR

2. These are both mesh AP

Now...

In version 8.0, Multi-country code is not supported for mesh APs.

Here are the release notes for version 8.0. Just check Features not supported on Mesh Networks.

Info: Since AirOS 8.1 "Multicountry support for Mesh" has been added. So if you can find a 8.2 or 8.3 release which works for your deployment, this should no longer be a problem.

so best would be to upgrade Cisco WLC SW to 8.2 or 8.3 and then try again.

Hi Sandeep, thanks for the quick answer.

I don't understand... There are several CAP1532I already working on the WLC from other sites.

paste the bootup process from AP console.

I will have to go on site for that. If I don't receive a better answer, that will be my next step.

thanks again.

Hi Sandeep,

I uploaded the log.

Any hint would be appreciated.

Try upgrade the WLC software to 8.2 or 8.3 and try again.

You may need to check if other APs must support or compatible with new SW as well.

Regards
