I have an 1142 running capwap c1140-k9w8-tar.124-23c.JA4  that I am wanting to convert to an Autonomous AP.

However, the AP does not seem to have an archive exec  command to tftp downoad an new IOS.

Is there another procedure that should be used?

Thanks

John

Thanks,

The issue that I seem to be having is that when in enable mode, I do not see an archive command available in the exec.

as is suggested from the doc above.

is it possible that 12-4-23c.JA4 would have a different command structure?

THx,

John

Interestingly,

The AP does not have config t as a command. ( yes, I am in enable mode)

I can issue a debug capwap from the exec, but console is not an option.

Wait... Do the debug capwap console CLI first then try the archive command

Thank you for the hint!  Doing debug capwap console CLI first did the trick.

Glad you got it working!
