Capwap mtu 1005

Hi team,

In my environment, I've noticed an anomaly with our 500 APs. Around 450 of them are establishing CAPWAP tunnels with 1485 MTU, while the remaining 50 are using   1005 MTU.

AP Model: 9166 {All APs are in local mode}

WLC: 9800

is it any bug or configuration issue.

Thanks in advance

              - I can't see any MTU differences in your screenshot ,

Hi marce,

Above the output of 'show capwap detailed | e 1485 ".

"show capwap detailed" command output attached below.

 - In that screenshot I only see 1485 as MTU ,

If these AP in site run IPSec over tunnel or over MPLS and there are multi label then ot can mtu reduce to this value.

This vlaue is nego between WLC and AP

And both agree in one value.

I dont think it bug.

Dont worry of the capwap is health
