Hi
We're running multiple Catalyst 9800-CL controllers (17.3.3)
Typically one cluster in North-America will be backup for the APs attached to a controller in South-America.
I have run the config files through the Wireless Config Analyzer, and I find it to be quite helpful.
However, I'm getting a Warning that I'm not able to really understand.
The message would be "CAPWAP: Invalid primary switch config APs" (and then list all the APs).
In the Action column it would say: "The AP has configured a controller name which is not present in the analyzed config file. This may also indicate an error in the AP configuration."
All the APs are primed with a primary and a secondary WLC, and failover between the two 9800-CL clusters is working as expected.
Can someone explain to me what this warning is, and if it's real?
If this is a real problem, how do I correct it?

I also had the same experience, then after sitting with my other team members and testing in a test bed we noticed the following behavior. Lets say you are analyzing North-America WLC, then WLC config analyzer prospective it will see whether the joining AP's have the North-America WLC as the primary AP. If you have AP's where another WLC name configured as Primary WLC then it will throw this error.
