CB21AG adapter trouble

I just purchased a new Cisco CB21AG cardbus adapter for my laptop. I've installed the latest Cisco software for this adapter which appeared to install properly. I can see the device in my device manager.

When I go into the client software and go to the "profile management" tab, everything is greyed out. I can't setup any wlan profiles. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?

As I remember, only if you insert the card properly and you can configure the software. i.e. the software can detect the Wi-Fi NIC.

Try to check the device manager to ensure the NIC is enabled and no conflict w/ other device. Moreover, if there is built-in Wi-Fi NIC, you may need to disable it first.

Finally, please check the client software is the latest ver, you download it here :

Hope this helps.
