CBW240AC rebooting

Hi guys,

We have brand new 20x CBW240AC Wireless Access Point with latest firmware 10.7.1.0.

All the access point are connected to 12x new switches Catalyst 1000 (8 and 24 ports), latest firmware 15.2(7)E5. All RJ45 cables are brand new of CAT6a.

We have many problems of suddently the access point reboot, even if no users are connected on the Wi-Fi. This appears from time to time but very frequently and the access point that reboot is not each time the same.

There is a strange beahavior also, the access point can work for weeks without rebooting and can then reboot 20 times a day for 2-3 consecutive day.

The setup is much simple, here is an example :

1 switch 8-port (C1000-8P-E-2G-L) with 3 access points on ports 1 to 3. The port 9 is the uplink.

and here is an example of our log management server (Graylog). All logs from the switches are directed on Graylog.

We have also checkd the cable with cable-diagnostics. All seeams to be good.

Couldn’t find a bug but seems like one, check with Cisco May be an internal bug.

-hope this helps-

@ammahend Thank you for checking ! I'll try to contact Cisco the next week for doing that.

   - Check for further logs and or use a syslog server  too.

@marce1000

Hi, we have configured the redirection of syslog to our central log management (Graylog).

here is the config provided on the switch :

logging trap 7
logging x.x.x.x

and on theWi-Fi controller (Promary AP):

Log Syslog Level : 7

Host : x.x.x.x

Below the message from the switch :
