I there any way of tweaking RTS/CTS thresholds (2347 bytes) on the APs to force stations to send RTS? (both AireOS and IOS-XE).
I'm trying to solve a scenario where there are a LOT of retransmissions due to hidden nodes. Becuase of budget constraints there is no way of replacing current antennas for directional ones as they may need to double the number of APs to provide redundancy.
Thanks

Here for old APs running standalone:

Some theory

Couldn't find something for WLC though (but I was low on time to search).

Thanks @patoberli but I knew that documentation.
After opening a TAC case the engineer told me this is hard coded in CUWN so there is no way to modify taht.
I wonder why this is possible in autonomous APs but not in LAPs. Other vendors provide a way to configure it at your own risk.

In that case you are left with the usual tweaking options for high density networks, like making smaller channels (only 20 MHz), optimizing placement of the APs, disabling low data rates, disabling unused SSIDs, setting RXsop more aggressive, have a channel plan with the other Wi-Fi providers, so that only channels 1,6,11 on 2.4 GHz are used, move more clients to 5 GHz and so on.
Maybe this helps a little:
