I haven't been able to find a command to check software image MD5 on WLC.
Would anyone help me with that?
Thanks

That's a good question. I don't know that you can .. Here is the procedure for code upgrade for the wlc. No mention of checking the hash ..

I typically will use an MD5 Checker software either on widows:
http://m.download.cnet.com/MD5-Checker/3000-2092_4-10410639.html
or on my Mac
https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/21726/md5
If the MD5 doesn't match, all you will see when uploading the code is an error processing.

The MD5 option for the verify command was introduced in Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(22)S and will soon be released in the latest 12.2T images. You can view the Cisco IOS software versions containing the MD5 verify option in the "First Fixed-in Version" field of CSCdw84342 (registered customers only) .

Just remember that WLC isn't IOS but AireOS so checking MD5 is possible in IOS but not AireOS. You need to use a separate 3rd party tool which you can find free

There's no need to "check" the MD5.
When you upload the firmware up to the controller, the first thing the controller will do is check the MD5. It's part of the upload script.
