We've just completed some network up grades at four sites. New switches and new access points. The access points are 3802's. The problem is some of our older Chromebooks no longer connect to the 3802's. Swap out a 3802 for a 3702 and the Chromebook connects no problem. WLC is 7400 and we're running 8.2.151.0. It's kind of disappointing because we're talking hundreds of Chromebooks that no longer connect to the wireless.

Google pushes automatic updates -
The Chromebooks work on 3702's, same switch, but they do not work on the 3802's at all.

The access point we are using for testing is set to channel 36 and 20 Mhz. 120, 124, 128, and 144 are not selected in the DCA list. We upgraded the controller to 8.2.160.0 but still not luck with the older chromebooks. This is becoming a major issue as well as frustration. Your post is the only that actually had some thigs to try even though those channels were not selected in the list. Thanks for response - still working with Cisco on the TAC case but I find it hard to believe we're the only school district having this issue. Not looking too good for 3802's or wave 2 installations.

sorry to post on this old thread, but was there a bug-ID for the original problem that we could look at?
wondering if we have the same problem, but we aren't able to update to the code on our WLC's due to the old AP's we have in some locations.
