Cisco 1242 AP configuration - Disable console and 802.1x for the AP

Hi guys,

Many thx thuis far for the excellent help on this forum for the wifi stuff - it is so valued

Couple of points I have.

1. Do most people change the console password on their AP from the non default OR is there a way to disable console access on a 1242LWAP ?

IEEE 802.1X Supplicant

This feature supports an 802.1X supplicant for EAP-FAST and EAP-TLS that provides a secure method for enabling 802.1X authentication on the switch ports that are connected to access points.

Does anyone use this feature or just use the SSL/TLS exchange between AP and WLC?

I change the default password, easy to do now on code 5.0 from the controller GUI.

I don't use the supplicant, but AP authorization list on the WLC...
