Cisco 1832I not identifying

Hi, I have a Cisco 1832I AP running in Mobility Express mode. The problem is I can get the builtin WLC's webpage. But it is not showing the AP. There are no any other Cisco devices on the network. Also I can't afford a WLC for this one Access Point. Tried resetting the AP couple of times with no luck. How can I get this up and running?

How does the AP gets an ip address? 

Make sure the inbuilt AP gets an ip address from same subnet of WLC. 

you can login into AP part by entering:  

(Cisco Controller) >apciscoshell
!!Warning!!: You are entering ap shell. This will stop you from establishing new telnet/SSH/Web sessions to controller.
Also the exsisting sessions will be suspended till you exit the ap shell.
To exit the ap shell, use 'logout'

Thanks for your reply.

But the thing is when the AP has completed it's bootup process, it is asking for a username in console. I can't type anything on the console and I have attached the console output messages as a text file. There's nothing I can do in the console since I can't type anything on it. 
 At this point I can ping to the IP address which AP( or controller ) has obtained from the DHCP server but cannot get to the web interface by typing IP address on the computer browser connected to same network.
But last time when I reset the AP I could get to the Controller Webpage and it shows 0 AP are connected to the controller. 

Any advice appreciated..

Hi,

You can use the same username/password which you initially configured on WLC. (Same credential used to login from GUI).  

Default username/password: cisco

--- Make sure AP and WLC are in same subnet. 

--- Verify the country code configured on WLC. 

--- verify the date and time

Collect below outputs from (WLC) using: 

---- Show interface summary

---- Show country 

---- Show time

Then login into builtin AP part by entering: 

(Cisco Controller) >apciscoshell
!!Warning!!: You are entering ap shell. This will stop you from establishing new telnet/SSH/Web sessions to controller.
Also the exsisting sessions will be suspended till you exit the ap shell.
To exit the ap shell, use 'logout'

Provide us the below output from AP login also console output: 

AP#show ip interface brief

But as I mentioned in the previous comment, I can't type anything on the console screen.. nothing happens when I'm typing and pressing enter key. While this is happening, the AP's light is blinking 3 or 4 lights continuously. It doesn't get stopped unless for a power cut. How  should I proceed?

Hi, 

If you not able to get access or type anything then, please try resetting the AP using mode button. 

Try to configure it from the scratch.

            I did reset the AP couple of times. But didn't work. I will reset it once again and I'll post the console output and some screenshots on whats going on. thanks for the reply.

in the CLI, try "config network webmode enable"

and "save" the config otherwise everytime you'll lose the configuration after reboot

anyway.. I have the same problem that I cannot sign into the console after "apciscoshell".....
