Cisco 2802i - radio 2 has been disabled

Level 1

I have an AP 2802i. I have just converted it from CAPWAP to ME (ver: 8.10.196.0).

This AP is configured to AP & Controller mode.
I created 2 SSID - 1 for 5ghz only (wlan1) and 1 for both bands (wlan2)
The wlan 1 cannot be enabled and The wlan 2 cannot broadcast 5ghz band

When I check Access Point setting, I have found that the radio 2 has gone.
I can not enter configure terminal in CLI to turn the radio on

Can someone help to solve it?

@Dattq1201

It is not necessary to bring the radios UP, they should be UP already.

Either the AP is not getting enough Power or your installation have problem and you need to reinstall

Thanks @Flavio Miranda
The current POE adapter (55V- 0.6A - 33W) was working well with this AP when it was a CAPWAP AP. So I don't think it is not getting enough power.

Do you have any idea about installation? the configuration was erased to factory default.

You can have a configuration checkup using : WirelessAnalyzer input (procedure) for AireOs controllers
and feed the output from that into Wireless Config Analyzer

Hi @marce1000 , I upload my running configuration and the start message to Analyzer but no output after.

Can you help to take a look?

one more question, I would like to change the AP mode from Flexconnect to Local mode. Could you help?

 - That running configuration.txt file is invalid and not the typical output from this procedure :
               1. Type "config paging disable" in privileged mode to set your terminal to display without any breaks.
               2. Type "show run-config" to display the config.

For an example on how to configure flexconnect  have a look at https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless-mobility-knowledge-base/wireless-lan-flexconnect-configuration-example/ta-p/3112924

I have just tried with another AP but it get the same problem with the first one. There is no global configuration mode. And running configuration looks a bit strange

Hey @Dattq1201

Did you set the right country on the ME ?

Enter Country Code list(enter ‘helpfor a list of countries)[US]:XXX

This could be problem. If you did not set the country the radio may stay down.

Hi @Flavio Miranda

Yes I set it to VN. And this country code is working for dual bands .

disable  clean air

config 802.11a cleanair disable network

reload the AP.

@Dattq1201

Vietnam Country Code is not H, it is S.

Your AP is H , you should use Bahrain country

Thank you very much. this solution works to me. I have reset default the controller and enter BH country code. The radio 2 appears after that. Should I need to disable clean air too?

Not necessary

I don'w know why but 5Ghz band is enable and my computer has set 5ghz is prefered. However, the AP only accepts 2,4Ghz.
I have created a second SSID with 5Ghz only but it has not been broadcasted
