Hi Guys,

Is it possible to do time base access for Cisco 5500, like per AP or SSID active from 8am - 8pm? Thanks

Hi.

Yes you can, but you need a WCS to do this.

Please check: Scheduling Radio Status

There are a few different ways to achieve this. If you search on this forum, you will feel bs ways to do this if you have WCS/NCS/PI.  You can also achieve this using local policies:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/7-5/config_guide/b_cg75/b_cg75_chapter_0111100.html

If your SSID is using 802.1x, you can also configure a radius policy to only allow authentication between certain times.  Here is a link to Microsoft NPS for time based restrictions.  Many radius server has similar setup.
