I set up a small wireless network for a client about 1 year ago. The network consists of a 871W router and a 1131AG access point. The network has been working fine since is was installed. The issue is that some people now have laptops with Vista, and the Vista systems can't see the SSID when you browse for wireless networks. All the XP and 2000 systems see it just fine. The Vista systems can connect to it by manually entering the SSID. Is there anything I need to change or add to get this to work? The 871's IOS is 12.3.

Make sure any firewall is turned off on the system. Vista has a completely new IP stack which does try to do some
sophisticated things. Try the command netsh int tcp set global rss=disabled autotuninglevel=disabled
