Cisco 9115 catalyst AP, MDIO Error: MDIO got failure status on phy 6

Hi

We have a Cisco 3504 controller with 2 catalyst 11ax 9115 AP's in the setup

When I updated cisco 3504 controller to 8.10.122.0 software version, only one AP is coming up and the other AP is giving issues as below

Can you please help

Description

Symptom:
Two symptoms -

- 9115 AP stuck in reboot loop with tracebacks.
- AP doesn't get CDP of Switch (even though Switch gets the AP's CDP). Error "MDIO Error: MDIO got failure status on phy 6" occasionally appears on console.

Conditions:
Issue reported on 8.10.113, confirmed on 8.10.122.
Reported on 1852, but no proper crash logs detected, and low frequency of reported crashes.

Workaround:
No issue on 8.10.105.0.

I had the same issue, AP wouldn't even talk to the controller with the code it came in with.

I consoled into the AP, Added the controller manually.

Added a static IP and DG and I was able to get the device to communicate with the controller and AP has been stable and functioning.
