I am trying to integrate through web policy.

I read the manual, but there are many things I don't understand.

1. Is aaa server really necessary?

2. In Authentication of AAA Method List
Which type is correct, dot1x or login?

If login is selected
The aaa server was not registered in the wlan. Is it correct?

depends on the deployment, if you have external authentication which can interface with WLC for redirect the user for authentication and use external as example :
