Hello All,

I have two Access Points and I discovered that one of them has the 37540 port open.

1) It is possible to turn if off ? If yes, how?

2) How this affects the AccessPoint clients?

Thank You.

As per the below document that port number is used when  AP configured as Spectrum Expert (SE-Connect mode)

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/5500-series-wireless-controllers/113344-cuwn-ppm.html

If you check your AP config, you can revert it back to normal autonomous AP

Hello,

Thank You Rasika but...

The AP is already in autonomous mode, so...no WLC, no controller no nothing. Just the AP itself.

What is wrong in this case for such behavior?

There is "no" no command to close this port?

Thank You.

Pls post below output from your APs to see any spectrum expert config is there.

ap#show spectrum status

Also if you check your radio 0 or radio 1 interface you would see "station-role spectrum" configured under those interfaces.

Hello,

Unfortunately, I have no such line on the config line for this interface.

I do have " station-role root" but the same line is present on the other AP where the port is closed.

Any other suggestions please?

Thank You!
