I have just purchased a brand new AIR-AP-1852E-F-K9 32 Unit for our branches
I connected the AP to the POE and it gets an ip.
But the CiscoAirProvision SSID won't show up. After a lot of research I am a little bit confused.
Maybe someone can help me.
- I need the AP using mobility Express.
- The correct firmware would be AIR-AP1850-K9-8-3-143-0.tar or AIR-AP1850-K9-ME-8-3-143-0.zip - I don't have any contract with cisco so I can't download this firmware. Why do I need a contract to download software from Cisco?
- I tried to ssh to the AP with putty to find out if what version is currently installed on the ap but i can't connect to it.
Any help would be very appreciated and sorry for my English.

You need "AIR-AP1850-K9-8-3-143-0.tar" file for converting it to Mobility Express mode. The other .zip file is for AP image upgrades when other AP joins ME AP.
To get firmware upgrades, you requires supports, that's how cisco operate.
Try console cable & see you can configure it via CLI
