Cisco Aironet Bridge 350 Compatibility

Can any one explain to me whay the Cisco Aironet Bridge 350 with firmware 11.20 will not link with a none cisco 802.11b access point. I can link other equpment to it as a root but when I try to link it as a client to other access points it will not associate.

Bridging is not part of the 802.11 specifications.

As such, equipment from one vendor will usually not work (for bridging) with other vendor's equipment because they all have implemented different methods to accomplish the goal (bridging, WGB or long range).

Can you be a little bit technical. In addtion, I am not using it for bridging. I want to use it as a client with a Teletronics Access Point.
