Cisco AP 1852 not joining to WLC 3500 Series.

When i configure the ap with Static IP it takes IP and Starts ping in local network but it cant join WLC.

according to matrix, its compatible with OS.

you need to check WLC logs and AP console output to find out what is the reason for not joining. check controller date and time accuracy.

seems like you are hitting bug. better open TAC or upgrade WLC to recent version.

Also check date/time settings if this is not an -T AP. 

You still have free licenses on the WLC and selected the correct country?

Can you post a show version from the AP?

I would also suggest you to check the NTP in WLC and make sure it has synced and the time and date is current.

It has been noticed that some times Wave 2 AP's running certain older AIreOS codes (8.2.X) are not joining the WLC running 8.5 or higher. After confirming NTP I would suggest upgrading the AP manually to the same code as WLC. AP firmware can be found in the below doc.
