Hi,
In Cisco AP 2802 datasheet I see that the power draw is lower with the USB port disabled.
Is it possibile to disable the USB port with WLC release 8.5.135? If yes, how can I do it?
Thanks,
Samuele

looks like default setting is disabled.
below guide is for 8.8 but 8.5 will have similar location of this setting?
source Cisco Wireless Controller Configuration Guide, Release 8.8
Step 1 |

Check the USB Module Status check box to enable the USB port.
|
||
Step 3 |
[Optional] Check the Override check box to enable the USB Module on the particular AP or uncheck to apply the AP group setting to the AP. |
||
Step 4 |
Click Apply. |
||
Step 5 |
Choose the Inventory tab to open the All APs > Details for (Inventory) page. This page shows the connected USB Module details. |
