cisco ap 9115 IOS upgrade

Hi, I am upgrading my Cisco 9115AXI AP from 16.02.04.a to the recommended version.

The upgrade failed at first, so I switched to u-boot mode and successfully booted with Bundle IOS.

What I'm curious about is that if you want to install the recommended version of EWC mode in the current state

8.10.130.0 --> 8.10.190.0 --> 17.6.6 CAPWAP --> EWC images?

Do I have to install EWC images sequentially like this? I tried to install 17.09.04a from 8.10.130.0 at once and failed.

If you know the IOS installation guide or installation order, please let me know

@heyjunsun you've already discussed this at great length on https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless/cisco-ap-ios-update/td-p/5020257 - why are you duplicating the questions here?

You are welcome to do it anyway you want if you don't like my advice.
But I've suggested the upgrade path which I have found works reliably.

Hello,

what was the reason for the failed upgrade?

Please check the compatibility matrix - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

Installing directly therecommended version of EWC mode should be a problem.

hello rich !

Thank you for your reply.
I wrote it twice because I was in a hurry. I didn't write it because I didn't like your question. Don't get me wrong! I solved the problem thanks to you. Thank you.

Ok cool - glad you got it working.
