CISCO AP NEAT Support

Hello,

We have a setup on which we want to use flexconnect on cisco wireless APs and dot1x on switchports.

Normally, using NEAT/CISCP can help with this setup but i have seen that Cisco ceased the support for the feature starting from 8.7 version.

Do you know if any alternative? mainly to use APs as dot1x supplicant and flexconnect?

Thank you patoberli, but as you can see on the link they say that NEAT and CISP are not supported.

Those features help you to have dot1x on an access port and once the AP is authenticated the switch moves the port to trunking state wich is required for flexconnect setup.

Now is the NEAT is not supported, i don't know how i can do dot1x on a trunk port.

I actually haven't read the full document. But in this case I suggest opening a TAC, hopefully they have an idea.
