Cisco Prime Infrastructure Backup Error

I keep on getting "Prime Infrastructure Server Backup failed : % A backup or restore is already in progress" error.... any ideas.....

sounds like one of the back up jobs are stuck. have you tried restarting the services ?

login to the server via SSH

type in

application stop ncs

application start ncs    ( this will take up to 30 mins)

% Application failed to stop....

If it was me and I had some type of backup within the last ninth days I would power cycle the server or VM.  However, this could really corrupt the database. I would suggest you calling TAC.
