is there a way to change at the same time  multiples ap ( access point ) names on cisco prime or controler. (WLC)... ???

i always change manually the ap name  one by one, and i work on a building which as 75 AP.

How cani  change  all names at the same time.  ?

Exemple : i setup a template in order to change address for multples acces point.....

You can able to achieve with CSV file.

You can do this easily on WLC CLI. You can prepare required CLI command like below & apply it via WLC CLI, should not take 60s for changing those names once you have below ready. "show ap summary" may help you to get list of existing AP names.

config ap name <new_ap1_name> <old_ap1_name>

config ap name <new_ap2_name> <old_ap2_name>

.

.

config ap name <new_ap75_name> <old_ap75_name>
