Cisco Recommends image for 5508 WLC

Hello Team,

Can someone plz let me know which image should I upgrade for below WLC.

Model 5508

AP - 3702i , 3702e

Current image - 8.0.152.0

The stable version is 8.5.X - read the release notes and AP support also.

Go for 8.5.161.0, its by far stable version in 8.5 series.

Upgrdae Path: You can directly upgrade from 8.0.151.0 to 8.5.161.0

Just to add to what was already mentioned. Take a look at the tac recommendations also to give you an idea. Now what you end up with will be up to you and your testing. Some might feel one version is stable over another, but it comes down to the environment, what equipment you have, your design and config.
Like what was mentioned also.... please read the release not carefully to understand what path you need to take to upgrade and backup your configuration so that you can run a diff after to make sure nothing was changed or added that you don’t want enabled.
