Cisco routers or equipment compatible with T-Mobile networks

Hi all,

I'm trying to determine 4G LTE Cisco routers or equipment compatible with T-Mobile networks.

Checking out the Cisco 819 routers, they do work with Verizon and AT&T network bands as seen here:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/819-integrated-services-router-isr/data_sheet_c78-678459.html

but I don't see none of the bands listed for T-Mobile.
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4988

If anyone has info for Cisco routers or equipment that works with T-Mobile or a 4G LTE router that will do IP passthrough AND provide wireless N or above connectivity, please provide that info.

Thanks,

Jason

I think this one should work:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/800m-integrated-services-router-isr/datasheet-c78-732678.html

Add the LTE WIM-LTE-LT and the Wi-Fi module to it. Please note, I haven't checked if both at the same time are compatible.

patoberli,

Thanks for providing that info. I did end up going with a Mikrotik LtAP mini LTE kit-US for $75 as seen here:

https://mikrotik.com/product/ltap_mini_lte_kit_us

I would have liked to use the all Cisco for this as it is for home lab but that would have been out of my budget.

It was quite the chore to try to find a Cisco router or module for my existing routers that works for the T-Mobile technology. My choices were narrowed down to Alcatel hh41 https://www.amazon.com/Alcatel-Unlocked-Worldwide-Caribbean-HH41NH-2BTGMXA-1/dp/B07RNDJFXN/ and the MikroTik. Ultimately, I went with the MikroTik.

I'm new to Mikrotik and the idea of exploring their rhelm of technology was appealing.

Thanks,

Jason

Also sounds like a good solution, but it looks like it's lacking routing features and is restricted to max 100 Mbps. But as long as it offers what you need, surely a good product.
