Cisco vs Ruckus WLAN

Hi people,

What are your thoughts on Cisco vs. Ruckus for Access Points and Controllers? The comparison points could be:

• Flexconnect
• Mesh
• Beamforming & Beamflex
• Cisco 1850 APs vs. the Ruckus equivalent - what is the Ruckus equivalent? R310, R500 or R600?
• Access point density vs. coverage

Ruckus is much cheaper than Cisco, and is a pretty capable product. Ruckus AP's have way better radio's than the cisco AP's. that my 5 cents worth

I think you need to look at the requirements and then look at feature comparisons. Cisco is always more expensive than other vendors but no matter what vendor you choose, if you don't have a proper site survey and or design and optimized configuration, nothing will work well.
