Cisco vWLC split and rehost license

Hello ! I'm looking for advice in this matter. We have one virtual WLC with base-ap-count license for 40 APs (we bought L-LIC-CTVM-UPG and 7 x L-LIC-CTVM-5A), but we are using only 18 APs.

We are going to buy another one WLC for remote office and want to rehost the current license, split it into two license twenty points in each. So we want to get one vWLC with 20 APs lisence and second vWLC with 20 APs license. Is it possible to do ? Thanks in advance!

Yes, but you need to buy one new "L-LIC-CTVM-5A" and contact Cisco's licensing team (licensing@cisco.com) to rehost the UPG licenses in a "balanced" way on both WLC's. Supply them upfront with all the original PAC codes.
