I run Cisco WCS 6.0 on Linux. Does it support x86_64 or do I have to use 32 bit?

64 bit support for linux is on the roadmap.
It will be on WCS 7.0, released around 03/10.
For now you need to use 32 bit.

Hello,
I am using WCS 7.0.164.3 on Linux. There is still no 64 bit support. Are there new plans when 64 bit support will be provided?
Regards,
Robert

I would not expect to see it now that NCS has replaced WCS.

Does the Cisco Prime NCS also support features like Clean Air technology or wIPS with PCI like with the MSE ?
What are the advancements of using MSE with NCS ?

NCS has all of the features of WCS and is replacing WCS. NCS will eventually be able to manage wired network components as well.

It seems, there ist only support for CISCO virtual Appliance and VMware ESX. At this time it's not possible to run the NCS software on an RedHat Linux box.

Nor will there ever be. NCS is a hardened server, you will need to run it on the hardware appliance or deploy the OVA to VMware.
