I have been troubleshooting a WLC 2106 that I was given for my learning lab. I powered the device up using my power supply from my ASA 5505, there was no console output and a green power light with an amber status light.
I know the general consensus...call TAC. This is not an option as I do not have a support contract. Please do not troll my post and direct me to TAC.
- The device does seem to POST, all 8 port lights flash once.
- When I put the flash card into my windows 7 machine I was prompted that the flash is not formatted (NO changes made)
After going through everything I believe the issue is with the flash card.
If someone could send me a .zip image of their flash card I would be forever grateful!!!!!
If an image is not an option maybe someone could please point me to the correct files I need to download/extract onto the flash card.
