Cisco WLC 2504: only reachable from same subnet

Hello Experts  @Scott Fella  @Sandeep Choudhary  @Rob Ingram

I got cisco WLC and I can only connect to it if my computer is in same network.  I tried changing its IP and vlan and even within new vlan, I am only connect to it if my laptop connected in same vlan.

I don't see any ACLs on core switch or on WLC so far.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Take a look around the forum after you read this. If you are trying to connect to the controller from a subnet that is defined in a dynamic interface, that is not allowed by default. Access from any other vlans that are not part of any dynamic interfaces should be allowed.
so depending if you are trying to access the controller from a subnet that is defined in a dynamic interface, then you need to allow management via wireless/dynamic interface.

And stating the obvious but does the PC have an IP route to the WLC and does the WLC have an IP route to the PC when they're in different subnets?
