Cisco WLC and WCS

Hello,

Can any one please explain to me what are the uses for WLC and WCS? Do I need to have WCS if I already have WLC? Thanks.

Hi,

WCS is a wireless control system. Its used to manage WLCs like push down configs, make reports etc. Its not a requirement. And to note, WCS is being replaced with NCS.
