CMX - cmxadmin password recovery 11.0

I am following this document to recover and reset the password for "cmxadmin"

When I reset my VM Server and edit ("e") into the rescue image "linux16" is no longer visible. On previous version 10.6.x there was linux16 and I was able to follow these instructions and reset the password successfully. I have even tried on the bootup Image rather than rescue, same result.

Have Cisco updated their doc for cmxadmin password recovery? Anyway else know what has happened here!

I have followed this document previously for my 10.6 build and that worked..........something in 11.x has changed and as per my snapshot the lines specified in the link document you posted, are no longer visible, looks like there is a different way to reset passwords from 11.x onwards.

So far, confirmed with TAC that the password recovery document is invalid for CMX 11.0.1 this version does not run CentOS but another Cisco Linux OS - Alma Linux OS
