CMX has been in the market for quite some time now, yet it still does not support TACACS or any other type of centralised authentication. Pretty much every Cisco product out there supports TACACS, yet CMX seems to have missed the boat.
We have a use case in which we'd like to offer the CMX 10 presence analytics and the connect UI to 500+ branch managers using RBAC based on their AD group. It would be extremely inefficient to manually create a new user in the CMX UI for each of these. We also require audit logging for access and configuration.
Is there anything in the road-map for external authentication or is this something we'll need to hack together at the OS level?
