CMX upgrade 10.5.1-27 to 10.6.3-105 HA pair CLI or GUI

quick question, performing my first upgrade of our CMX system(Conscripted into it, being the new engineer   )

I was checking to see how other folks have upgrade. I know I need to break the HA pair, but should I upgrade from the gui on the primary cmx node, or upgrade the secondary and than the primary node?

Process:

Break HA

Upgrade either node as they technically separate nodes then, I would go secondary first just incase it dies.

Then reform HA

As per the release notes for 10.6 

Use the CLI, not the GUI, to upgrade to Cisco CMX Release 10.6.1 or later due to CSCvp04706
