Hello and tx for those answers,
Does anybody know how big is the firware?
I need to know how much data are transfered from the WLC to the AP.
Can you confirme that during the predownload, the Access point stay available and can accept new connexions?

You can extract the WLC .aes image and look to see how large the individual images are. As far as the pre-download, the AP's are still up and functioning. I have done this many times and also when AP's have been in remote sites with no issues.
