Hi Everyone,
I have a client that will be split in two differents entities with two differents LAN. But it will remains hybrid site with hybrid meeting room that will be used by employees from entity A and employees from entity B. So they want to implement one AP (entity A) managed by the WLC of entity A and one AP (entity B) managed by the WLC of entity B in the same room. Do you have return of experience about implementation of this kind of solution?
I'm pretty sure it's a bad idea with radio cover conflict but would be nice to have some feedback.
Many thanks by advance

- Normally the APs will have controller steered band and channel select to avoid interfering with each other; in a short way the APs have kind of short survey of the spectrum. So it can work,

Technically this solution will work as long as APs won't interfere with each other. You also have to look at the nearby APs. Depending on how dense the installation is - you may see no interference to a lot of interference (CCI).

lol, indeed it works. however each and every SSID represents a ROGUE ap on the opposite WLC. I have many rouge aps, caused by having a County AP next to a Superior Court AP in every courtroom so I have 2500 friendly rogues. indeed not all from courts

Roaming, even with Mobility Tunnel enabled, will be a big problem.
Nobody does this kind of setup unless they are setting someone up to fail.
