Conections WLC serie 5500 or 9800

Good evening,

dear Parnert

I just got 2 new 9800 serie wireless controllers and I need to know if they can work with the 2600 APs or if we can connect the new APs on the 5500 series WLC

the 2600 series wont be able to connect to the 9800.

Dependant on the code version they will to the 5500 series WLC

check out the wireless compadibility matrix. It has what first and last software version for each model AP and WLC

You write about "new APs", which model are they?

Do you have now both, 9800 WLC and also old 5500 series?

You need to be more specific than "5500 series" - what is the actual WLC model because it matters?
5508 last supported in 8.5 will not support new WiFi 6 (AX) APs.
5520 running 8.10 can support the new APs.
