Hi guys! Trying to configure AP1242 for CCME and 7921 Ip Phone. I have done all necessary on CCME and on the AP have created a voice vlan as required but in vain. the phone keeps on saying "locating network services". My CCME is version 3.
Please help guys where am going wrong.

Hi Anthony,
Just a quick check, support for the 7921G was not added until CME 4.1.

Hope this helps!

Locating network services means the phone is unable to find an AP / network for which the 7921G is configured for.
The SSID is case sensitive and ensure no spaces at the end.
Would suggest to use open authentication for now, then can go from there.
See the 7921G Design Guide for more info @

Hi Guys,
One clarification, Can i use the ce500 for wireless. I have connected the AP to ce500 switch then to the call manager router.
Thanks
