Here's my current setup:
AIR-WLC4402-12-K9 (SFP Port 1 with a GLC-T via a Cat5e cable) -> Plugs into: FastEthernet0/5 (Catalyst 2950)
AIR-LAP1042N-A-K9 -> Plugged into FastEthernet0/6 on the Catalyst 2950
What do I need to do on the Catalyst 2950 to make all this work together?

If you only have one port on the 4402 connected to the switch, you don't need LAG enabled. You need to make sure the clock on the WLC is current, use NTP if possible. Make sure the AP gets a DHCP address and put the AP on the same subnet as the WLC management. If your WLC is on an access port, make sure you set the WLC management interface vlan ID at 0, which is untagged. If you setup the port as a trunk, then don't use a native vlan on the trunk and define the vlan ID on the WLC management interface.
Here is a good link to review. Hope this helps
