Console is stuck there when plugging into AP

Hi Console is stuck there, please see the below error message. and cannot type anything only when the console is plugged into the AP c9130. Anyone has experience about this? Thank you

 

% Authentication failed


No valid user found, please configure a valid user from Controller

Keep the console connected and reboot the ap. If you see an output on the console, then there is no issue. Try to factory reset the ap to make sure there is no configuration that was in place cause the issue. Hold the mode button for 20 seconds while powering up the ap. The led will flash res around the 20 second mark.

Can confirm this worked for me. Using C9120-AXI-B.

The way you mentioned can work, but all these kinds of ap have this issue once joining. we might have another way to resolve it from wlc, but so far we do not know it.

The bug does not mention a workaround.

Hello @interfacedy 

As it states "configure a valid user from Controller", Just configure a user on your AP profile

Example

EWC(config)#ap profile <profile-name>
EWC(config-ap-profile)#mgmtuser username admin password 0 Cisco123 secret 0 Cisco123
